Namahana School is a tuition-free public charter middle and high school for the North Shore communities of Kaua‘i. Opening in 2025, the school will start with 7th and 8th grades and add a new grade each year until full capacity in 2030. Guided by the Big Picture Learning network and ‘āina-based learning, Namahana’s model emphasizes connections with students’ communities and natural environments to build critical skills for solving real-world challenges.
