Wendy-Ann Dixon-DuBois is a savvy communicator with a breadth of experience that spans education, nonprofit, and corporate sectors. At NewSchools, Wendy leads the team bringing communication strategy to life through clear messaging, powerful stories, and engaging visual content.

Driving social change through strategic community impact initiatives has been the core of Wendy’s career. She started as an elementary school teacher in Miami and later led academic and youth development programs in Washington, D.C. Wendy has taken her direct service experience and translated her visions of exemplary, equitable education for all students into scalable, global partnerships and mission-oriented communications and marketing campaigns while at United Way Worldwide.

Wendy holds a B.A. from the University of Miami and a Masters of Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida. She is a devoted Miami Hurricane, serving as Immediate Past President for the University of Miami Black Alumni Society. When not drafting communications plans, she’s usually planning events for friends and family.
