As a Senior Analyst, Nathan Shiferaw supports the investment process and drives data collection and impact measurement efforts on the Innovative Schools team.
Nathan has been active in the education field for the past six years, engaging in student teaching, volunteering, and working in the ed-tech and publishing industries. Prior to NewSchools, he completed a three-year rotational program at Curriculum Associates, where he honed his skills in customer implementation and account management, strategy and operations, product management, and market research and sales. Nathan earned a B.S. in Economics from Northwestern University.
Nathan is passionate about hip-hop music (I love you, J-Dilla), admires film (clapping emoji for ‘Parasite’), and enjoys talking about the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat.
