Shelby Maday is a 3rd and 4th grade teacher at Stevenson Elementary School in Mesa, Arizona. Currently in her fifth year of teaching, she also holds the position of Team Lead for the second consecutive year. In 2020, Shelby was invited by her principal to participate in a partnership with Arizona State University to pilot a teaming model at the elementary school level. This model aimed to provide comprehensive support for students by fostering collaboration among educators and implementing personalized learning strategies. As she wraps up her fourth year of teaming and second year as Team Lead, Shelby continues to be an integral part of the Stevenson Elementary community, dedicated to ensuring the success and well-being of her students.
